CHILDBIRTH EDUCATION CLASSES

CHILDBIRTH ESSENTIALS CLASS

1 Day Intensive Group Class – $300

A quick and comprehensive 6-hour group class on comfort techniques, how to prepare for labor, and help writing your birth plan. Best for those with busy schedules who want the benefits of a group dynamic and meeting other pregnant couples. This class is taught by one or two of our doulas and certified educators.

This is a one-day course on a Saturday and meets at our office building in Franklin. Saturday, 9am-4pm w/a lunch break.

2 Week Group Class - $300

Same content as our one-day intensive, but broken up over 2 consecutive weeknights. This class meets either on Monday or Tuesday nights for 2 weeks. Great for people who prefer soaking in all the information over 2 weeks, as opposed to one day. This class also meets in our office building in Franklin.

5-9pm w/a short dinner break.

Private Class w/Instructor In Your Home – $500

Your instructor will come to you for two, 3-hour sessions in the comfort of your own home! Best for those with very busy schedules who want one-on-one instruction.

ADVANCED CHILDBIRTH CLASS

Group 4-Week Comprehensive Class – $400

Four weeks of 2-1/2 hour classes at our office in Franklin. This is the most comprehensive childbirth class we offer with over 10 hours of instruction. This class is best for those who want detailed instruction spread out over a 4-week class.

Private 4-Week Comprehensive Class – $850
(10 hours, in your home. Please inquire. This option is not always available.)

Four weeks of 2-1/2 hour classes in the comfort of your home. This is the most comprehensive childbirth class we offer with over 10 hours of instruction. This class is best for those who want detailed instruction spread out over a 4-week class and prefer one-on-one instruction.

SUPPLEMENTAL EDUCATION CLASSES

BIRTH-RELATED CLASSES

VBAC Prep Class - $250

If you’ve had a previous C-Section and are planning and hoping for a vaginal birth this go around, this is the perfect class for you. Taught by one of our doulas who is a VBAC mom and has supported many on their journey to a successful VBAC. This is a 3-hour class, customized to your needs and experience.

Home Birth Prep Class - $290

This is a one-day comprehensive 6-hour course on preparing for a home birth! This class includes mindset, comfort techniques, how to prepare for labor, and help thinking through your vision for your birth.

BABY CARE CLASSES

Bringing Home Baby/Newborn Care Class – $250

Learn the tools you will need to bring baby home for the first time: swaddling, bathing, cord care, calming solutions, breastfeeding techniques and the different ways baby can latch. Essentially, this session is the “instruction guide” that should have come with your baby. Taught by one of our postpartum doulas.

Breastfeeding Basics Class - $250

Breastfeeding basics is an interactive class that will help you feel prepared for the early days and weeks of breastfeeding. This 3-hour, in-home class is taught by one of our skilled lactation counselors who are also postpartum doulas.

Jill has over 20 years of clinical and professional medical experience. Plus, she brings 20 years of real-world, real-mom, one-on-one experience.

Private Instruction (in your home) - $950

Hypnobirthing Class is a total of 13.5 hours of instruction over 5 weeks. If you have a birth doula, they are encouraged to attend with you on nights 3 & 4.
