Sandee is a pillar in the birth community and one of the most respected and sought-after doulas in the Nashville area. With nearly four decades of experience, she brings a deeply rooted calm, wisdom, and confidence to every birth she attends. Families and care providers alike trust her for her steady presence, extensive knowledge, and unwavering support.

Her journey began after the birth of her first child in 1985, when she experienced firsthand the power and peace of a supported birth. That transformative moment sparked a calling that has guided her ever since. She went on to receive her Birth Doula certification through DONA International and has supported hundreds of women across Texas and Tennessee through hospital, birth center, and home births.

Sandee also spent three years assisting a local home-birth midwife and completed advanced training at The Farm Midwifery Center, including the Midwifery Assistant Workshop and the Neonatal Resuscitation Program. She has maintained her professional certification in recent years through Harbor Birth Institute, where she also serves as a doula trainer, mentoring the next generation of birth professionals with the same wisdom and compassion she brings to her clients.

She and her husband John have raised six children and now enjoy life in Nashville, where Sandee is affectionately known as “Pearl” to her eight beloved grandchildren. She enjoys reading, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.
