Jessica was born and raised in Middle Tennessee. She lives with her husband, John, of 7 years and three children Presley (5), Marley (4), and Townes (20 months). As the oldest child and cousin of a close family, she was raised around lots of children. She loved taking care of children from a young age and lived her life around doing so. Jessica began babysitting through middle and high school, working for a babysitting agency through undergraduate, and full-time nannying through graduate school.
Upon completing graduate school with her Master’s in Education and a K-6 teaching license, she worked as a substitute, interim, and finally landed on having a Kindergarten classroom of her own. Her teaching career was put on pause with the back-to-back births of her daughters.
After staying home with her three children, Jessica was ready to share her love of caring for children with others. She has a passion for caring for infants and postpartum mothers. There’s something special about encouraging and empowering mothers in the role they were born to do.
Jessica attended Lipscomb University for her undergraduate and master’s degrees. She is currently working on her Postpartum Doula Certification through Harbor Birth Institute.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family. They love to be on the go and explore new places and experiences. Jessica enjoys anything crafty and currently loves hand embroidery. She enjoys spending time at her church in the nursery, teaching VBS, and working in their Mother’s Day Out program.
