Meet Debra, a seasoned California native who has been a dedicated postpartum doula for over two decades, serving families throughout the Los Angeles, CA. area. With a wealth of experience, she has recently made Middle Tennessee her new home, bringing her passion for supporting families in their postpartum journey to the local community since 2023.
Debra's affinity for nurturing began during her teenage years, where her love for children blossomed through babysitting and caring for infants. Her journey continued as she served as a nanny for several years, honing her skills and deepening her connection with families.
As a mother herself, Debra faced the challenges of having two daughters born preterm, providing her with firsthand experience of the unique needs and struggles that come with the early stages of parenthood. It was through this personal journey that she recognized the invaluable support that new parents require at home when welcoming a newborn.
Beyond her role as a doula, Debra is a proud wife to her husband Richie. Together, they share a love for travel, with Hawaii holding a special place in their hearts. Together they have visited the beautiful islands numerous times, they cherish the experiences and memories created during their adventures.
Having successfully raised her two daughters and now enjoying the role of a grandmother to five, Debra brings a profound understanding of the joys and challenges that come with expanding a family.
