Ariela's Bio

Sleep is one of the biggest challenges for new parents. Feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, and unsure about how to help your little one (and yourself!) get better rest is completely normal. As your sleep coach, Ariela is here to guide you with compassion, evidence-based tools, and ongoing support so your whole family can feel more rested.

Below are some of the most common questions parents ask her—along with the reassuring answers she loves to share.

Q: “I’m so tired. What exactly is a sleep coach, and how can you help me?”

A: I hear you—it’s hard to function when you’re running on empty. A sleep coach provides calm, personalized guidance through the chaos of sleepless nights. I take time to understand your baby’s temperament, your family’s values, and your unique situation. From there, I create a step-by-step plan to help your little one learn healthy sleep habits. I’ll support you throughout the process, answer your questions, and celebrate your wins. My goal is to give you both better rest—and to give you confidence along the way.

Q: “Do I have to let my baby cry it out?”

A: Not at all. “Cry it out” is only one method, and it doesn’t work for every family. I use gentle, responsive approaches that prioritize connection and comfort. Together, we’ll find a method that feels right for you—allowing you to stay present and responsive while also teaching your baby the skill of independent sleep.

Q: “My baby is still so little. When can we start working on sleep?”

A: Every baby is different, and there’s no one-size-fits-all answer. With newborns, we focus on building a strong sleep foundation—things like recognizing sleepy cues, setting a flexible routine, and helping them learn the difference between day and night. As your baby grows, we’ll gently introduce more independent sleep skills when they’re developmentally ready. The process is always guided by what’s safe, effective, and gentle for your family.

Q: “What does the sleep coaching process actually look like?”

A: Sleep coaching isn’t a quick fix—it’s a supportive journey. We’ll start with a thorough consultation so I can learn about your baby, your routines, and your goals. Then I’ll create a customized sleep plan just for you. Most importantly, I’ll provide ongoing support—regular check-ins, adjustments as needed, and encouragement every step of the way. You won’t be navigating this alone.

Q: “What if it doesn’t work?”

A: That’s a very real concern, and I want to ease it. The plan we create is tailored specifically to your family, and we’ll track progress together. If something isn’t working, we’ll pivot until we find what does. Even small improvements can make a huge difference in your daily life. My commitment is to helping you feel more rested, more confident, and supported through the entire process.
