Jazlin Gutierrez

Birth Doula & Postpartum Doula

Jazlin is a wife, a mother, a believer, and a birth doula who genuinely believes that no woman should have to walk through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum feeling alone.

Her journey into birth work began from a deep passion for supporting women through one of their most transformative seasons. Becoming a mother changed Jazlin in the best way possible, and having good support by her side made that experience even more meaningful.

With a father who was an OBGYN and an aunt who was a midwife, Jazlin grew up around birth and all the beauty that comes with it. Through her own pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience, she learned firsthand how important it is for mothers to feel supported, informed, and deeply cared for. That experience ignited a passion in her to walk alongside other women and families during such a sacred and life-changing time.

Jazlin believes birth is powerful, deeply personal, and instinctual. Her philosophy centers on offering compassionate, evidence-based support while honoring each family’s unique wishes and choices. She believes God intentionally designed birth with love and purpose. While every birth journey is unique, she believes women’s bodies were beautifully created for this process.

Her goal is to support mothers in feeling informed, empowered, and confident in the incredible strength and intuition God has given them. Jazlin believes every mother deserves to feel empowered, heard, and supported without judgment—whether that looks like an unmedicated birth, an epidural, a cesarean birth, breastfeeding support, or simply having someone by her side who makes her feel safe and cared for.

Jazlin’s personal experiences with pregnancy, birth, and motherhood have shaped the way she supports families. Motherhood has stretched, softened, and strengthened her in ways she never expected. It has deepened her empathy and helped her understand both the beauty and challenges that come with welcoming a baby and navigating postpartum life.

Jazlin also openly shares a part of her story that has deeply shaped who she is today. She has a T-12 spinal cord injury. While this injury is part of her journey, it does not limit her from doing this work. If anything, it has empowered her to pursue it even more wholeheartedly. She is fully capable of offering hands-on support and care to the families she serves. While she does have a few small limitations, they are very minor, and she is always happy to have open conversations about them.

More than anything, Jazlin’s injury has strengthened her resilience, compassion, and perspective on life. She truly believes God has used every part of her journey—both the beautiful and the difficult—to mold her into the woman she is today. Through challenges, He has grown her faith, deepened her empathy, and given her a greater understanding of perseverance, grace, and the importance of support during vulnerable seasons of life.

Those experiences are something Jazlin carries with her into every birth and postpartum space she enters.
