Katelyn Fulton

Birth Doula & Postpartum Doula

Kate Fulton was born in California but is a Tennessean at heart. She and her family moved here in 2012, and it has felt like home ever since. She married her husband, Josh, in 2008, and a year later had their first born, Judah. Then, 10 years later, they had their miracle, double rainbow, baby boy Jayden. Her passion for supporting families in birth and postpartum came out of her own difficult experiences while birthing her boys, and navigating postpartum anxiety and depression alone.

For more than 10 years, Kate has had the privilege of supporting women and families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum season; first informally through a passion for serving others, and now officially as a labor and postpartum doula. She did her labor and postpartum training through ProDoula Institute, and has other certifications in Massage Therapy and Doula OR training.

Kate believes that every mother deserves to feel seen, heard, supported, and cared for throughout her journey into motherhood. Her approach is centered on Christian values, providing compassionate, nonjudgmental support while helping mothers feel confident, educated, and empowered in their choices.

With a heart for service, Kate is passionate about supporting women through the physical, emotional, and often overwhelming transitions of pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. She believes that caring for the mother is an essential part of caring for the entire family.

When she is not serving families, you can find her cheering on her sons in the marching band and soccer field, serving at her church, or crocheting and being crafty (usually with a coffee nearby!)
